Redwood City Public Library to Close for a Half-Day on December 16
Redwood City, CA - December 12, 2005 - On Friday, December 16th, 2005 the Redwood City Public Library will be closed to the public for a portion of the day. The scheduled closure will enable library staff to attend a training program designed to provide them with additional tools and techniques for offering outstanding customer service in the face of continuing budget cuts.
oth the Downtown Library located at 1044 Middlefield Road and the Fair Oaks Library located at 2510 Middlefield Road will be closed during morning hours, and open to the public from 2 pm until 5 pm only on Friday December 16. The Schaberg Library is normally closed all day on Fridays.
Online library services will remain available and can be accessed through the library’s website at www.redwoodcity.org/library. Library materials may be returned to book drops that will remain open at both facilities, or returned to any open public library in San Mateo County.
The Redwood City Public Library offers many free programs for children, adults, and families, and is the learning center of our community.
