Learn about Award Winning Zero Energy Home!
Redwood City, CA - November 6, 2009 - For three weeks last October, the U.S. Department of Energy hosted the Solar Decathlon—a competition in which teams of college and university students competed to design, build, and operate the most attractive, effective, and energy-efficient solar-powered house. The third place winner was a group of students from Santa Clara University and California College of the Arts – and this week Redwood City and Recycleworsk.org are hosting a presentation on their remarkable zero energy home entry in this prestigious national competition.
