Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine
by the City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board will be enacted
by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category
is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined
by the Mayor/Chair. If you wish to speak to items on the
Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give
it to the Council/Agency Assistant.
MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the
ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances,
and approve other items.

Mid-Year Budget Adjustment for Redevelopment Agency
(RDA) Capital Budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2006/2007 – Redevelopment
Agency Board

Recommendation:
Approve by motion the amendment of the RDA FY 2006/07
Capital Budget as follows:
1. Transfer the Metropolitan Transportation Commission
Housing Improvement Program (MTC/HIP) Grant of $387,900
from the Post Office Paseo Project (#803-71243) to
a new capital project: “El Camino Real Grand
Boulevard Improvement Project” (#803-72013).
2. Appropriate an additional $113,147 from available
RDA General Fund “Working Capital Balance” for
the “EL Camino Real Grand Boulevard Improvement
Project” (#803-72013).
3. Appropriate $75,000 from available RDA General
Fund “Working Capital Balance” for a
new capital project: “Transit Connectivity
Project” (#803-72023).
4. Appropriate $50,000 from available RDA General
Fund “Working Capital Balance” for a
new capital project: “Marina Area Planning
Study” (#803-72033).

Recommendations for the Human Services Financial Assistance
(HSFA) Program

Recommendation:
Direct staff to incorporate the Housing and Human
Concerns Committee’s recommendations for
HSFA for FY 07-08 into the FY 07-08 budget to be
presented for review by Council in June. HSFA recommendations
are being presented this evening as a part of the
overall Annual Action Plan for the City’s
use of HUD funds. The Council will take no action
at this time.
