7. Middlefield Library - 1990
In 1988, the library was relocated from it's previous location at Jefferson and Middlefield to it's new and current home in the old Fire Station No. 1 on Middlefield Road between Jefferson and Main. The building was completely renovated while preserving the original architecture. Library staff and patrons were excited to move into the new space. The Middlefield Library is a Redwood City historic landmark.
