Start with light basic flexibility. Learn fundamental stance, footwork, and striking technique. Learn to properly shadow box transferring skills to light and heavy bags for a super cardio total body workout. Further sharpen skills and increase stamina with punch mitt and punch shield routines. Introduction to interval training combining boxing skills and various calisthenics and plyometric exercises. For strength and conditioning, the use of medicine balls, stability balls, dumbbells, flex tubing, jump ropes, etc. will be employed. Finish with cool down and advanced flexibility training. $30 fee payable at first class for hand wraps & training gloves. If enrollment is low, intial start-up session for an additional fee may be required by the instructor.
