Design and create your very own wrought iron mosaic table for interior use. This class is perfect for the total novice and for anyone who’s done some basic mosaics and wants to try something a little more challenging. Class includes lecture, demo, design critique and the use of substrates, fixatives, mosaic materials and tool use. You’’ learn to cut and shape ceramic tile, transfer you design to the tabletop, and grout your finished piece. Design options range from representational to abstract. Experience not required, however, creativity is thoroughly encouraged. Come with a prepared design or design the project in class. Each student will take home a completed 15" diameter table.
