Welcome to Infrastructure

Infrastructure plans, designs, and manages (in conjunction with other City operating departments) the rehabilitation and enhancement of the City's infrastructure and public facilities, including:

  • City buildings and park facilities
  • 155 miles of roadway
  • 8 miles of levees
  • 567 miles of pipelines
  • 64 pump stations
  • 12 water tanks with a 21-million gallon storage capacity
  • Over 13 miles of creeks, drainage ditches, and canals

    CalRecycle

  • The 2012-2013 Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal Project was partially funded by a grant from CalRecycle
  • Approximately 18,000 California waste tires were diverted from the waste stream by this project
