Streetcars

Once a popular, common, and convenient form of public transportation, streetcars are appearing again in urban centers. Redwood City's draft New General Plan recommends studying the feasibility of implementing a streetcar or similar system as a long-term community asset to enhance non-automobile connectivity between neighborhoods; bus, rail, and water transit hubs; and the Downtown core.
