Bye, Bye Time Limits!

Welcome to a kinder, gentler parking system.

Time limits are a thing of the past in Downtown Redwood City*. We won't cut your visit short, so now you can relax and spend the whole day or evening with your family and friends.

The high-demand parking areas are priced a bit higher than those a block or two away. Long-term parkers often choose the lower-priced spaces, opening up short-term parking in the downtown core and reducing vehicle "cruising", making downtown nicer for everyone. So if you plan to visit downtown for the whole day, park and walk and stay as long as you'd like!

* Some time limits will remain for special circumstances, such as loading zones. See signs and meters for the most up-to-date information. Time limits still apply in areas beyond downtown.
