Directions to Downtown:
By Car
Highway 101
- Traveling south: From north of Redwood City, take the Whipple Avenue exit off Highway 101. The off-ramp becomes Veterans Boulevard so at the light proceed straight for another quarter of a mile or so and then turn right on Middlefield Road.
- Traveling north: From south of Redwood City, take the Woodside Road exit off Highway 101, continue on Woodside Road south for about a half mile, and then turn right on Middlefield Road. After another half-mile or so you'll be in downtown.
Interstate 280 – From north or south of Redwood City, take the Woodside Road exit. Head north on Woodside Road for about three miles, and turn left on Middlefield Road.
By Train
Caltrain - The Redwood City Caltrain stop is right in the heart of Downtown.
BART – Bay Area Rapid Transit doesn't extend to Redwood City, but BART riders can transfer to Caltrain at the Millbrae BART station and take Caltrain to downtown Redwood City.
By Bus
SamTrans has multiple routes that provide access to Downtown Redwood City.
