Walking is easy, accessible, convenient, and it’s free! Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services raising awareness for preventing heart disease! This is a day to get active and kick-off healthy lifestyles in your community, in your circle of friends, or with your family. Lace up your sneakers and make a commitment to live healthier by joining us for the American Heart Association’s annual National Walking Day on Wednesday April 3!

If you’d like to participate, we plan to meet in front of The Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue in Redwood City at 9 am for a morning walk. If you are unable to meet up, please remember that just 30 minutes every day lowers your risk for heart disease, and puts you in a better mood!
