'Lose Your Lawn' the Bay-Friendly Way

Learn how to remove your lawn without tearing it out! This FREE how-to talk presented by the non-profit Bay-Friendly Coalition, will be given by Educator Brian Debasitis and Landscape Designer Fanny Obadia. The Talk will provide design and plant selection advice as well as walk you through converting your lawn without breaking your back or your wallet. There will be a hands-on demonstration of sheet mulching – an innovative technique of layering materials on top of your lawn, allowing you to plant right into it!

Plus, learn how you can participate in your local water agency’s water conservation rebate program, which could net you up to $2000! All attendees receive a copy of the Bay-Friendly Gardening Guide and entry into a drawing for cool garden gifts. The hour and a half talk will be followed by tabling, where you can talk one-on-one with a designer.
