Overview 
This development proposal is for two adjacent privately-owned sites in northeastern Redwood Shores.
- A 109-acre site known as Area H
- 117 - 131 town homes on eight-to-nine acres
- A 400 to 450-student elementary school on seven acres
- Restoration of 90+ acres into tidal wetland
- A five-acre site known as Indian Creek
- 27 town homes
- A 3.5-acre neighborhood park
Upcoming Community Workshops/Public Hearings:
The Redwood City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) and Precise Plan for this project on Tuesday, October 16th, 2007. At this meeting, the Commission will gather community input on environmental impacts, concerns, and issues addressed in the Draft EIR.
The Draft EIR and Precise Plan have been prepared for review prior to decisions being made on the actual project proposal.
Previous Community Workshops/Public Hearings:
The Planning Commission held a Community Information Workshop / Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at which it gathered community input on what environmental impacts, concerns, and issues should be addressed in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The Commission also convened a public hearing at that time, and took action to recommend initiation of a Precise Plan for the proposal site.
An EIR and Precise Plan are elements which are necessary before decisions are made on the actual project proposal.
