Woodside Hills Christian Academy Proposal
(formerly Redwood Baptist Church School Proposal)
Project Overview:
Redwood City is reviewing an application for a Use Permit to allow Redwood Baptist Church to expand their operations to include Woodside Hills Christian Academy, a kindergarten through 12th grade school and child care facility, at 2323/2325 Euclid Avenue.
Latest Update/Next Steps:
- The City Council will hold an Appeal Hearing on July 13, 2009, 7 pm at City Hall. This Hearing is to consider an Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's Approval of the of the project's Use Permit Application, which was filed by two neighbors.

History:
- November 29, 2007 - A Community Workshop was held to provide information about the project, explain the City’s review process, and to gain feedback from neighbors, the church, and the community at-large (see notes from this meeting).
- August 28, 2008 - A follow up Community Workshop was held to provide an update on the project including revisions to the scope of the project (see revised proposed Site Plan). The Draft Traffic Study was also made available.
- January 9, 2009 - The Final Traffic Study was made available.
- March 26, 2009 - A Corrected Final Traffic Study was made available.
- January 15, 2009 - A Zoning Administrator Public Hearing was held for the project (Hearing Notice), during which time both the applicant and the public were provided the opportunity to speak on the project.
- February 9, 2009 - The Zoning Administrator issued a Notice of Official Action approving the Use Permit application.
- February 13, 2009 - The City received an Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's approval, filed by two neighbors.
- An Appeal Hearing is scheduled for the City Council meeting on July 13, 2009.
