Sequoia Hospital Project - Study Session July 23, 2007

The City Council of Redwood City has scheduled a study session to learn and gain detailed information about the proposed remodel, retrofit, and expansion project for Sequoia Hospital. The study session will take place this Monday, July 23rd, starting at 7 pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road in Redwood City.

Interested members of the community are invited to join the Council for an overview of this project, presented by City staff, the City’s urban design consultant, and Sequoia Hospital’s architectural firm. There will also be opportunity for questions and answers about this project.

This meeting is informational only, and no decisions will be considered or made.

The Sequoia Hospital project consists of, seismic retrofits, remodeling, demolition, and new construction. The current design proposal will provide a net increase in the hospital size, and the addition of over 600 parking spaces in a parking structure.
