Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of the City Clerk is to maintain
the integrity of the legislative process by providing
technical and administrative support to the City Council
and information to the community.
The City Clerk is appointed by the City Council. The
City Clerk is responsible for facilitating the business
proceedings of the City Council, and fulfilling legal
requirements as set forth in the City Charter, City
Codes and State law. The Office of the City Clerk conducts
all City elections and administers campaign and financial
disclosure laws.
