General Municipal Election Details
On November 6, 2018, the City of Redwood City will hold a General Municipal Election to fill three seats on the City Council. Anyone who is 18 years of age or older and who is a resident and registered voter in the City of Redwood City may run for an open seat on the City Council.

Nomination and Filing Period
The nomination period for election to the office of City Council Member, will be during business hours from Monday, July 16, 2018 through Friday, August 10, 2018. If a qualified incumbent does not file nomination papers, the nomination period will be extended for non-incumbents only, until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018.
Nomination papers for the office of City Council will be available after 8:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City CA, City Clerk Department. Please call the Office of the City Clerk at 650-780-7220 for more information, or to make an appointment to take out nomination papers.
