Strategic Plan Adopted June 22, 2009; affirmed November 23, 2009; revised February 22, 2011

Under the leadership of the City Council, Redwood City's strategic planning process includes an approved Strategic Plan that helps to guide the Council's policy-making and the organization's service delivery. This document, along with Strategic Initiatives Update and Annual Report, provides for a more informed and in-depth annual discussion of how best to accomplish the City's strategic goals.

  • 2015 Redwood City Strategic Plan - an overview of the City's Core Purpose and Values, identified Core Services, and the City's Strategic Initiatives and Strategic Goals, which translate into day-to-day work on behalf of the community.

  • 2014 Redwood City Annual Report [PDF] - for Fiscal Year 2012/2013, in which each City department offers a mission overview, key accomplishments, a selection of innovations implemented and notable performance indicators, some departmental “facts and figures,” and a look at some of the significant initiatives that each department will be undertaking in the subsequent fiscal year.
