  • Water Source Notice (12-28-2016):  Starting Dec. 29, 2016 the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission will temporarily change the Bay Area water supply from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir to local sources in order to complete routine maintenance and inspections of the Regional Water System. Through March 4, 2017, the SFPUC will supply water to Bay Area customers (including Redwood City) primarily from the Calaveras reservoir.  Water tests from the Calaveras reservoir show it to be essentially free of taste and odor causing compounds; however, while it is not anticipated, taste and odor issues may still be possible. At all times the water has been and continues to be safe to drink. Any customers who experience any issues or  have questions please call 650-780-7464.
