Special Taxes and Assessments

Redwood City has the following two Community Facilities Districts (also known as Mello Roos districts):

  • Redwood Shores Community Facilities District No. 99-1
  • Pacific Shores Community Facilities District No. 2000-1

You can obtain assessment district information by contacting our district administrators listed below.  Please have your APN (assessor’parcel number) ready.

When do I pay these Special Taxes and Assessments?

Community Facility District special taxes are typically collected on your general property tax bill with payments due on December 10 and April 10 of each year.  These special taxes are subject to the same penalties that apply to regular property taxes.
