Additional classes available for CERT graduates!

Once you've completed Redwood City's CERT course, you're ready for some new and very valuable information. Here are some great classes that will help you be even better prepared for handling a disaster and protecting your family, home, and neighborhood.

  • How to Use Your (Ham) Radio for Disaster Response
    WHEN: Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 6:30-9:30pm
    WHO:  This class is designed for volunteers assigned to operate raidos in emergencies.

    Priority is given to local ARES/RACES, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members, Red Cross, and other such groups. We encourage you to already have an Amateur Radio (HAM) license (but not required). There is a one-day "cram" class coming up: http://www.k6mpn.org/training/
