Proposed Action: To construct a 22,550 sq. ft. library
facility, including meeting
rooms and a larger multi-purpose room available for both library and
community meetings and functions.

5. INITIAL STUDY
FOR DOWNTOWN AREA PLAN AND HOUSING – PUBLIC HEARING
Proposed Action: To prepare
an Initial Study and Environmental Impact Report to determine environmental
impacts resulting from implementation of the Downtown Area Plan and
Initial Study and comment on potential environmental issues that should
be included in the Downtown Area Plan and Housing Element Environmental
Impact Report. No specific policy decisions need to be made at this
time. The policies and programs of these planning documents will be
discussed and adopted at future public hearings.
