Adjourn to Regular Scheduled Planning Commission Meeting on June 3, 2003, in Redwood City Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City.

3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

4. WATER SUPPLY ISSUES IN REDWOOD CITY – Information Report by Peter Ingram, Public Works Director

Recommendation: Hear presentation. No action is required by the Planning Commission.


5. ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT – PUBLIC HEARING

Proposal:
Proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance related to:
1. The construction of arbors and trellises in setback areas;
2. Definitions, land use classifications, and parking standards for medical offices, medical clinics, and research and development uses;
3. Definitions and standards for measurement of residential height;
4. Definitions and allowance for “theater” uses in the Central Business Retail (CBR) district; and
5. Provisions to accommodate child care facilities

Recommendation:
1) Adopt the attached Resolution of Intention
2) Open the public hearing
3) After the public hearing, by separate motion find that each proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments are in the public interest and recommend adoption of the Amendments to the City Council.
