Architectural Review Committee
- ONE 4-year term available, expiring May 31, 2012 (fills an unexpired term)
Home Improvement Loan Committee
- THREE 3-year terms available, expiring May 31, 2012
Library Board
- TWO 4-year terms available, expiring June 30, 2013
Planning Commission
- THREE 4-year terms available, expiring June 30, 2013
Historic Resources Advisory Committee
(Appointments made by the Planning Commission; a Planning Commission Representative sits on this Committee, and one of these three vacancies is for thePlanning Commission Representative seat)
The City Council is accepting applications for the above Boards, Committees and Commissions. The Planning Commission will appoint the Historic Resources Advisory Committee members; all other appointments will be made by the City Council.
The basic requirements are that applicants have an interest in civic and community improvement, are a resident of in corporated Redwood City, and are an "elector" - that is, eligible to vote. Some board or commission positions may have additional requirements or preferred areas of expertise.
Interviews with the City Council for the positions are expected in April. Appointments will be made at a regular Council Meeting yet to be determined. THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTAL OF APPLICATIONS IS 5:00 P.M., FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2009.
