Alicia C. Aguirre, Jim Hartnett, Diane Howard, and Jeff
Ira will be held in the City Hall foyer at 8:15 p.m. or
the close of the Regular City Council meeting.

TELEPHONES AND PAGERS, SO AS TO NOT DISTURB THE PROCEEDINGS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.
*ATTENTION SPEAKERS: If you wish to address the City Council,
please complete a speaker’s card (next to agendas)
and give it to Council Volunteer Art Balsamo (seated to the
left of the Council). By submitting the speaker’s card,
the Mayor will recognize you at the appropriate time. In
order to afford all members of the public the opportunity
to address the City Council, each speaker will be provided
3 minutes.

This agenda item affords members of the public the opportunity
to directly address the City Council on any subject relating
to the City Council which is not on the agenda. If the subject
you wish to address is not on the agenda, please understand
that the Brown Act (Open Meeting Law) precludes the Council
from taking any action at this time. The total time allocated
to this agenda item is within the discretion of the Mayor,
but is generally limited to 15 minutes.

Recommendation:
1. Adopt a resolution declaring Canvass of Returns
and Results of Special and General Municipal Election
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD
CITY, RECITING THE FACTS OF THE CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL
AND GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 8,
2005 DECLARING THE RESULTS AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS
AS PROVIDED BY LAW
2. Direct the City Clerk to submit the amended ratified
sections fo the City Charter to the Secretary of
State and file a copy with the County Recorder, pursuant
to Government Code 34459, 34460 and Elections Code
