JOINT CITY COUNCIL/ REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING
July 10, 2006
7:00 P.M.

PLEASE TURN OFF ALL ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT SUCH AS CELLULAR TELEPHONES AND PAGERS, SO AS TO NOT DISTURB THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL,REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING .

The City Council Meeting, Redevelopment Agency and Board of Equalization Meeting will be called to order simultaneously.

*ATTENTION SPEAKERS: If you wish to address the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Board of Equalization please complete a speaker’s card (next to agendas) and give it to Council Volunteer Art Balsamo (seated to the left of the Council/Agency/Board). By submitting the speaker’s card, the Mayor/Chair will recognize you at the appropriate time. In order to afford all members of the public the opportunity to address the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Board of Equalization, each speaker will be provided 3 minutes.

Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Board of Equalization and will be enacted by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined by the Mayor/Chairman. If you wish to speak to items on the Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give to Council/Agency/Board Volunteer Art Balsamo.

MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.

Award of Contract – 2005-2006 Storm Drain Improvements Project

Recommendation:
Approve the Contract Documents and award the contract for the 2005-2006 Storm Drain Improvements Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Harty Pipelines, Inc., of San Francisco, California, for their bid of $292,850.00.

Award of Contract – 2005-2006 Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal Project

Recommendation:

Recommendation:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance repealing ordinance no. 2286, which approved the FY 2005/06 budget and any and all ordinances or resolutions pertaining thereto, and approve a resolution adopting the FY 2006-07 budget.

Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the Agency Board approve the resolution adopting the Redwood City Redevelopment Agency budget for Fiscal Year 2006/07.
