REDEVELOPMENT MEETING
November 20, 2006

*ATTENTION SPEAKERS: If you wish to address the City Council/Redevelopment Agency please complete a speaker’s card (next to agendas) and give it to the Council Assistant (seated to the left of the Council). By submitting the speaker’s card, the Mayor/Chair will recognize you at the appropriate time. In order to afford all members of the public the opportunity to address the City Council, each speaker will be provided 3 minutes.

Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council will be enacted by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined by the Mayor. If you wish to speak to items on the Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give to Council Assistant.

MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.

A.

Approval and Authorization to Execute Change Order for Agreement between San Mateo County Human Services Agency and the City of Redwood City for Information and Referral Services provided at the Fair Oaks Community Center for FY 06-07.

Approve and authorize City Manager to sign the agreement.

Award of Contract – Redwood City Recycled Water Project – Phase I – Redwood Shores Distribution System – Bid Package 3 (Redwood Shores Parkway, Bridge Parkway, Shell Parkway & Davit Lane) Project

Recommendation:
By motion, approve the Contact Documents and award the Contract for the Redwood City Recycled Water Project – Phase I – Redwood Shores Distribution System – Bid Package 3 (Redwood Shores Parkway, Bridge Parkway, Shell Parkway & Davit Lane) Project to the lowest responsible bidder, K.J. Woods Construction, Inc. of San Francisco, California, for their low bid of $4,124,000.00.

C.

Sport Fields Synthetic Turf Conversion Project at Marlin Park and Sandpiper Park in Redwood Shores

Recommendation:
By motion, approve and authorize a consultant agreement with Beals Alliance for providing professional design and engineering consulting services for the Sport Fields Synthetic Turf Conversion Project at Marlin Park and Sandpiper Park in Redwood Shores, in an amount not to exceed $106,720.00.

Budget Amendment – 2006/2007 Roadway Management System

Recommendation:
By resolution, amend the Fiscal Year 2006-2007 Transportation (Measure “A”) Funds for the Roadway Management System to include an additional $567,713, which the City received through Proposition No. 42 from the State Controller’s Office.
