6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR - CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council will be enacted by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined by the Mayor. If you wish to speak to items on the Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give it to the Council Assistant.

MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.

Resolution amending the City of Redwood City’s classification plan and Fiscal year 06/07 budget.

Recommendation:
It is recommended that the City Council approve a resolution to change job descriptions and create new positions in the departments of Public Works Services and Parks, Recreation and Community Services.
