Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine
by the City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board will be enacted
by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category
is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined
by the Mayor/Chair. If you wish to speak to items on the
Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give
it to the Council/Agency Assistant.
MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the
ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances,
and approve other items.

Introduce an ordinance to delete existing Chapter
25 Parks and Recreation Areas of the Redwood City
Municipal Code and replace with the new Chapter
as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Commission
and modify Chapter 2 to change the Commission name
to Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission
to correspond with the name of the Department.

885 Woodside Road Precise Plan

Recommendation:
Adopt a Resolution approving the 885 Woodside Road
Precise Plan, as revised, based upon the findings
that the project demonstrates three or more of the
following features: superior mixed use design, incorporation
of affordable housing; incorporation of public or
community facilities; transportation demand management;
efficient and innovative use of infrastructure and
nonrenewable resources or innovative use of shared
parking (Attachment 2) and contingent upon the following:
a) Subsequent Planning Commission recommendation
to Council to approve the rezoning of property located
at 885 Woodside Road from General Commercial-Residential
Combining (CG-R) Zoning District to Planned Community
(P) Zoning District.¹
b) The City Council would then hold another public
hearing to consider just the rezoning.
c) If Council approves the rezoning, then the Precise
Plan would officially be approved.
