Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board will be enacted by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined by the Mayor/Chair. If you wish to speak to items on the Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give it to the Council/Agency Assistant.

MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.

The San Mateo County Parks & Recreation Foundation annual “Tour de Peninsula” Recreational Bicycle Ride.

Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency and San Francisco Bay Area Regional Water System Financing Authority

Recommendation:
Approve by motion commencing July 1, 2007; appoint Mayor Barbara Pierce to the Boards of Directors of the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) and San Francisco Bay Area Regional Water System Financing Authority (RFA) to fill the balance of Richard S. Claire’s initial term of office which expires on June 30, 2009.

C.

Award of Contract – 2007 Water Tank Exterior Recoating Project

Recommendation:
Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award of contract for the 2007 Water Tank Exterior Recoating Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Redwood Painting of Pittsburgh, California, for their low bid of $271,100.

D.

Agreement for Land Surveying Services for the Citywide Elevation Reference System Upgrade Program

Recommendation:
Approve, by motion, the consultant agreement with Meridian Surveying Engineering, Inc. (Meridian) of San Francisco to provide land surveying services for the citywide elevation reference system upgrade program in an amount not to exceed $139,523.84, and authorize City Manager to execute same.

E.

Agreement with Vogel Strategies for the Negotiation with Syufy (Century Theater) regarding the use of their site by US 101.

Recommendation:
Approve and Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Agreement with Vogel Strategies, a Consultant, for a month to month extension to his present contract in an amount not to exceed $60,000 or six months.

Award of Contract for the Marine Parkway Overlay Project

Recommendation:
Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the Marine Parkway Overlay Project to the lowest responsible bidder, O’Grady Paving Inc. of Mountain View, California, for their lowest responsive bid of $503,369.84.

6.2 Section – Final Acceptance

A.

Final Acceptance of Construction Improvements for 3201 – 3215 Oak Knoll Drive

Recommendation:
Accept, by motion, the construction improvements for 3201 – 3215 Oak Knoll Drive, release the security deposit upon the City’s receipt of a maintenance bond in the amount of $16,000, approve tree maintenance agreement, and authorize City Manager to execute same.

6.3 Section – Ordinances (Introduction/First Reading)-

A.

Restrict large vehicle parking on City streets to a posted time limit.

Recommendation:
Restrict, by ordinance, the parking of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating or more than 5,000 pounds to a maximum time limit of up to two hours, at all times when signs are posted giving notice thereof.
