Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council will be enacted by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined by the Mayor. If you wish to speak to items on the Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give it to the Council Assistant.

MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.

Approve the Joint City Council and Redevelopment Agency meeting minutes of June 25, 2007 as submitted.

Agreement between Youth and Family Enrichment Services and the City of Redwood City as fiscal agent for Redwood City 2020

Recommendation:
Approve and Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Agreement between the City of Redwood City as fiscal agent for Redwood City 2020 (RC 2020), and Youth and Family Enrichment Services (YFES) to support the full implementation of Child Welfare Redesign – Differential Response (DR) in Redwood City.

Award of Contract – Sandpiper/Marlin Park Synthetic Turf Field Installation Project

Recommendation:
Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the Sandpiper/Marlin Park Synthetic Turf Field Installation Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Granite Rock Company DBA Pavex Construction Division of San Jose, California, for their low bid of $1,641,785, plus an additional $50,000 for Bid Alternate No. 1, and total contract value of $1,691,785.

Costco Wholesale – Amendment to Agreement for Professional Environmental Assessment Services

Amendment to the Agreement for support of the Redwood City Family Centers (presently known as “Community Schools”) for FY 2007/2008

Recommendation:
Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment to the agreement between the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, and the Redwood City School District for support of the Redwood City Family Centers (Community Schools) for fiscal year 2007/2008.

Ballot Argument in favor of amending City Charter changing terms of office of Planning Commission, Library Board and Port Board members

Recommendation
