Information Technology (IT) Budget amendment for
fiscal year 2007-2008

Approve by resolution the addition of $54,000 to the
IT budget for fiscal year 2007-08, to cover the unbudgeted
cost of a contract IT employee to staff Redwood City’s

885 Woodside Road: Zoning Map Amendment and Revised
Precise Plan for a 43 Unit Condominium Project

Recommendation:
- Introduce an Ordinance amending Article 60, Zoning
Map No 7 (Oakwood Neighborhood) of Ordinance No. 1130,
the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, as Amended, to
rezone the real property that comprises the 885 Woodside
Road Precise Plan Area from the existing CG-R (General
Commercial-Residential Combining) zoning district
to P (Planned Community District). Council shall consider
the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Addendum to
the Mitigated Negative Declaration when taking this
action. (Refer to Attachment 1, the Ordinance).
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING
MAP NO. 7 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY
ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, TO REZONE THE PROPERTY
THAT COMPRISES THE 885 WOODSIDE ROAD PRECISE PLAN
AREA, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, FROM
THE EXSITING GENERAL COMMERCIAL-RESIDENTIAL OVERLAY
ZONING DISTRCITS TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT.
- Adopt a Resolution approving the revised 885 Woodside
Road Precise Plan, including the Mitigation Monitoring
Reporting Program (MMRP), based on the findings that
the project demonstrates the following features:
1. Superior mixed use design
2. Incorporation of affordable housing
3. Incorporation of public or community facilities
4. Efficient and innovative use of infrastructure
and nonrenewable resources
5. Transportation demand management (TDM)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE 885 WOODSIDE ROAD PRECISE
PLAN
Council shall consider the Mitigated Negative Declaration
and Addendum to the Mitigated Negative Declaration when
taking this action. (Refer to Attachment 2, the Resolution;
Attachment 3, the Precise Plan revisions and MMRP; and
“General Plan and Zoning Compliance” section
of this report).
