6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR - CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD

Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board will be enacted by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category is limited to 15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined by the Mayor/Chair. If you wish to speak to items on the Consent Calendar, please complete a speaker's card and give it to the Council Assistant.

MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.

Approve the Joint City Council and Redevelopment Agency Board meeting minutes of March 10, 2007 as submitted.

Professional services agreement for closed-circuit television inspection of selected sanitary sewer mains.

Recommendation:
Approve, by motion, an agreement with PSC Industrial Outsourcing, Inc. (“PCS”) of Benecia to provide closed circuit television (“CCTV”) inspection services of Sanitary Sewer Basin No. 2 and the Downtown Precise Plan Area for an amount not to exceed $140,832.90 and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount up to 10% if necessary.

Award of Contract – Printing of Recreation Activity Guide

Recommendation:
Award by motion the contract for the printing of 4 quarterly Recreation Activity Guides to the lowest responsible bidder, Folger Graphics of Hayward, California, for their low bid of $69,980.00.

Award of Contract – Master Water Meter Replacement Project

Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the Master Water Meter Replacement Project to the lowest responsible bidder, West Valley Construction Company, Inc. of San Jose for their low bid of $285,000.00 and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount up to 10% if necessary.

Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the contract for the Redwood City Recycled Water Project – Phase I – Seaport Distribution System – Bid Package 7 (Bike Path, East Bayshore Road, Maple Street, Blomquist Street, and Seaport Boulevard) Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Shaw Pipeline Inc. of San Francisco for their low bid of $2,062,250.00 and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount up to 10% if necessary.

Courthouse Square Pavilion Lease – Redevelopment Agency Board
