MOTION: Waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.

Agreement for Third Party Administrator (TPA) for Worker’s Compensation Administration Services.

Recommendation:
By motion, authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Athens Administrators to act as Third-Party Administrator for the City’s self-insured workers’ compensation program effective July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.

2009-2010 Tree Preservation and Sidewalk Repair Program.

Recommendation:
Approve by motion the contract documents, accept the bid, and award the contract for the 2009-2010 Tree Preservation and Sidewalk Repair Program to SpenCon Construction Inc., of Foster City, CA, for the amount of $712,920.00 and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the amount awarded, and reject all other bids.

Annual Tax Levy for the Redwood Shores Traffic Improvement District.

Recommendation:
Adopt a resolution authorizing the levy of special taxes for Fiscal Year 2009-10 in the amount of $837,364.64 on the parcels within the Redwood City Community Facilities District 99-1 (Shores Traffic Improvement District) to be used to pay the principal and interest payments on bonds issued to finance certain transportation system improvements within the district.
