CALL TO ORDER - 6:00 p.m., Mayor Howard presiding

RECORD ATTENDANCE -

Council Members Present - Claire, Hartnett, Ira, Jordan, Ruskin Howard with Leipzig arriving at 6:15 p.m.

Staff Members Present - City Manager Everett, City Attorney Schricker, Interim City Clerk McKay, Human Resources Director Rivera-Peña, and Human Resources Analyst Alvarez.

1. PUBLIC COMMENT - None

2. SUBJECT ANNOUNCEMENT

City Attorney Schricker announced the need to add an item of business to this agenda tonight as the need arose after the close and preparation of this agenda. He advised Council as to the legal process.

M/S Claire/Ruskin to add "Conference with Legal Counsel as per Government Code Section 54956.9 (a) Regarding Pending Litigation 1) Carlsmith v. Redwood City, San Mateo Superior Court No. 401591" to this agenda. The motion passed by unanimous voice vote.

3. ADJOURNED INTO CLOSED SESSION - 6:00 p.m.

Council Member Claire left the meeting at 7:00 p.m. and returned to meeting at 8:15 p.m.

5. CITY ATTORNEY TO ANNOUNCE REPORT OF ACTIONS TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION - None.

6. ADJOURNMENT - 10:30 p.m.
