CALL TO ORDER - 7:32 p.m., Chairman Ruskin presiding

1. PUBLIC COMMENT - None

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

A. M/S Ruskin/Ira to Approve the Minutes of the Redevelopment Agency concurrent with Council meeting of June 28, 1999 as submitted;

The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote.

7:47 p.m. - Agency Member Ira left the dais.

3. GENERAL

A. Downtown Retail-Cinema Project - Selection of Environmental Consultant for Environmental Impact Report and Economic Impact Analysis preparation.

Planning and Redevelopment Manager Church made a presentation.

Agency comments included concern with proposed developer paying costs and perception of conflict of interests.

M/S Hartnett/Claire to adopt RESOLUTION RD 99-26 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND MUNDIE & ASSOCIATES FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT AND AN ECONOMIC IMPACT ANALYSIS

The motion passed by a majority with the following vote: Ayes: Agency Members Claire, Hartnett, Vice Chair Ruskin and Chairwoman Howard. Noes: Agency Members Jordan and Leipzig. Abstain: Agency Member Ira.

4. CLOSED SESSION - None scheduled

5. ADJOURNMENT - 7:49 p.m.
