Suni Paz grew up in Buenos Aires and also lived in Chile.
She says, “Music was part of our lives always. There
were always guitars at home, and enormous, immense pianos.
We were supposed to listen to music!” When she moved
to the United States, she taught children who were studying
about Latin America – her unique method of teaching
them was through writing songs. Since then, Suni has recorded
and performed extensively. Singing in English and Spanish,
she has thrilled audiences of all ages on stage, radio, and
television, all over the world. Her unique songs inspire positive
ideas, the strength of the human spirit, and a caring world
view.
Suni will be joined on stage by the Citywide Children’s
Chorus of Redwood City under the direction of Orlene Chartain.
This local group of boys and girls has performed locally at
the ‘Tis the Season Parade and at Filoli, and have also
performed with Tom Chapin and the Bayshore Lyric Opera Company.
People of Note is a Los Altos-based foundation whose mission
