Enjoy a Musical Theater Breakfast at Veterans Memorial Senior Center

Redwood City, CA - January 10, 2003 - On Saturday, January 25 from 9:30 to 11:30 am, the Veterans Memorial Senior Center will host a very special breakfast presentation – musical theater of the 1930s and 1940s, featuring Joe Marchi, well known speaker and retired professor.

Mr. Marchi will share his love for American musicals, lots of details on specific musicals, and samples of the great musicals of that time period. The cost is only $3 per person, including breakfast and the presentation. Come re-live the musicals of the ‘30s and ‘40s, Redwood City style!

The Veterans Memorial Senior Center offers a variety of senior services, including a nutrition program, innovative classes, fun activities and exercises, social engagement, and other healthy and stimulating senior activities for free or at a very low cost. The Center is operated by the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, which provides recreational facilities and activities for all ages and interests, and supplies building and custodial services for City buildings.
