Redwood City's Summer Teen Activity Schedule Continues with Band Jam

Redwood City, CA - July 23, 2003 – Redwood City continues to offer great teen activities over the summer – the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department presents a band jam featuring four great local bands on Friday, August 1st at Fair Oaks Community Center, 2600 Middlefield Road. The doors open at 7:45 pm, the music starts at 8:00, and the cost is only $5.00.

On the bill: TRADGEDY ANDY, just back from their latest tour; WORDS FAIL, featuring members of Optimus Prime; 3 PRAYERS, featured in the pages of the August issue of Seventeen Magazine; and MOURNING STAR, back by popular demand.

The Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department provides recreational facilities and activities for all ages and interests, and supplies building and custodial services for City buildings. Redwood City Parks also operates the Fair Oaks Community Center, providing social, educational, and cultural activities, as well as information, referral, and counseling services to persons living in Redwood City and neighboring communities.
