Join Redwood City Parks, Recreation and
Community Services Department to Celebrate 2004 with an Afternoon
Tea Dance
Redwood City, CA - December 30, 2003 -
Looking for an alternative (or supplement!) to the traditional
New Year’s Eve celebration? The Redwood City Parks,
Recreation & Community Services Department has just the
ticket! Your Parks Department presents “A Toast to the
Town” New Year’s Tea Dance on Saturday, January
10th from 2 to 5 pm.
This is a wonderful way to greet the New Year, with chocolate,
champagne, cider, and lots of tasty goodies for all to enjoy.
Dancing music will be provided by the Bob Saul Orchestra.
This is a great alternative to the usual New Years’
celebration, and is likely to become a Redwood City tradition!
The Tea Dance takes place in the Redwood Room at the Veterans
Memorial Senior Center, located at 1455 Madison Avenue. Tickets
are only $10. For information and advance registration, please
call 650-780-7270.
The Senior Center is operated by the Redwood City Parks,
Recreation and Community Services Department, which provides
recreational facilities and activities for all ages and interests.
Your Parks department offers social, educational, and cultural
activities as well as information, referral, and counseling
services to persons living in Redwood City and neighboring
communities. Redwood City Parks is more than you think! Its
