Redwood City Parks Commission Subcommittee
Seeks Community Comment on Parks Ordinance
Redwood City, CA - November 2 , 2004 - The
Redwood City Parks and Recreation Commission Ordinance Review
Subcommittee announces a community meeting to discuss the
current Redwood City Parks Ordinance, and to request public
input on possible changes. This is the ordinance that establishes
the basic rules for park hours of operation, and acceptable
or prohibited activities in Redwood City parks. The Subcommittee
has scheduled a special meeting for Wednesday, November
10, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Activities Building,
1400 Roosevelt Avenue.
The public is invited to participate in this meeting and discuss any issues they may have with the parks and their usage. Written comments may also be submitted to the Parks Department at the address above, or via email to ccenteno@redwoodcity.org. Any written or email comments are requested by November 10th so that they can be included in the Subcommittee’s report to the full Parks Commission.
