The Redwood City Fire Department has provided three personnel for deployment (two Fire Captains and one Battalion Chief) as part of the the Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) California Task 3. This group is based in Menlo Park and includes participants from many San Mateo County and Santa Clara County Fire Departments as well as private industry and NASA Ames Research Center. They are expected to be deployed for up to 14 days.

We will add information to this page about any locally-based relief efforts that are organized, as we are made aware of such efforts.
