It’s Not Too Early to Get Incredible Holiday Buys on Thousands of Items at Friends of Redwood City Public Library’s Fall Book Sale
Redwood City, CA - October 17 , 2005 - The Friends of the Redwood City Public Library have been busily choosing the right mix of new and gently used the books, CDs, videos, and DVDs for their twice-yearly book sale, and that means incredible holiday bargains early in the shopping season.
It happens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, October 21st, and Saturday, October 22nd and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 23rd. The three-day event takes place at the downtown Redwood City Public Library, located at 1044 Middlefield Road in Redwood City. All are welcome to come, browse, and get the deals of a lifetime!
The thousands of books for sale include children’s tales, best sellers, travel guides, and mysteries, many of them in mint condition. As a special incentive, Sunday, October 23rd is “bag day” during which a bag filled with books will sell for just $5.00. Proceeds from the sale will be used to buy new books and other library materials, and to sponsor the Summer Reading Club for children and young adults.
The Redwood City Public Library offers many free programs for children, adults, and families, and is the learning center of our community. For more information about library events and services you may access the library’s home page at www.redwoodcity.org/library or call 780-7026.
