First-Ever Concert on Theatre Way – September 15th

Redwood City, CA -  September 11, 2006 - A very special performance has been added to Redwood City’s Live in Downtown concert series: Friday, September 15th 2006 at 6:00 pm marks a major milestone in Downtown Redwood City entertainment, with the first-ever Concert on Theatre Way! The community is invited to be a part of this historic event, as live music makes its debut on Theatre Way ( Middlefield Road between Broadway and Winslow).

The very-popular trio Pure Ecstasy will be performing classics, R&B, Motown, and hits from the 60s to the 90s, as the City closes Theatre Way to vehicle traffic to make way for music in the street!

This is the closing performance of Redwood City’s three famous and fabulous free summer concert series programs. Each summer, these concert series’ bring top-quality local and national musical performers to Redwood City for the enjoyment of the community. From rock, blues, Celtic, and swing, to Latin, salsa, jazz, blues, country, Motown, R&B, and more, these free concerts are a great way to spend summer evenings in beautiful Redwood City.

The entire community is invited and encouraged to join the fun starting at 6:00 pm on Friday September 15 th for the first-ever Concert on Theatre Way.
