Mayor and Vice Mayor to Present “State of the City” Address at Senior Center
Redwood City, CA - March 7, 2006 - The Redwood City Senior Affairs Commission invites the community to a very special luncheon with Mayor Barbara Pierce and Vice Mayor Rosanne Foust, as they present the annual State of the City Address.
THIS THURSDAY, March 9th, lunch will be served at noon in the Redwood Room at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison Avenue. Then, from 1 – 2 pm, the Mayor and Vice Mayor will present an overview of City activities and accomplishments, and their look forward at the upcoming year for the community of Redwood City.
Lunch reservations are required, by calling 780-7259 (the cost for lunch is $4.50). Members of the community are welcome to attend both the lunch and the presentation, or the presentation only.
The Mayor’s and Vice Mayor’s State of the City Address offers an informative perspective on the overall priorities, goals, and objectives of the City, as well as a look at the City’s challenges and accomplishments.
Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department provides recreational facilities and activities for all ages and interests, and supplies building and custodial services for City buildings.
