Redwood City Public Library Offers FREE LIVE Online Homework Help!
Redwood City, CA - March 20 , 2007 -
Children, teenagers, and parents in Redwood City never have to be stumped by a tough homework assignment again! Students from 4th grade to 12th grade and college introduction level can simply visit the Redwood City Public Library or the Library’s web site from a PC to get immediate, free help from qualified tutors.
It’s Live Homework Help, an online tutoring service from Tutor.com that connects students to expert tutors in math, science, social studies and English via the Internet. Spanish-speaking tutors are available in math and science.
This free service can connect students to an expert tutor every day from 1 pm to 10 pm, where they can receive free homework help. It’s easy to use – students simply go online to www.redwoodcity.org/library, click on the Live Homework Help link, and then enter their grade level and the subject on which they need help. In just a few minutes, students are connected to a tutor in an Online Classroom for one-to-one help in math (elementary, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus), science (elementary, earth science, biology, chemistry, physics), social studies (American history, world history, political science and more), and english (spelling, grammar, essay writing, book reports).
All tutors are certified teachers, college professors, professional tutors, or graduate school students from across the country. Every tutor has completed a third party background check and a comprehensive training program.
The Redwood City Public Library sponsors many free programs for children, families, and adults and is the learning center of the community.
