11th International Latino Film Festival in Redwood City - November 16, 17, & 18!
Redwood City, CA - November 1st, 2007– The City of Redwood City and the Latino Leadership Council are proud to host three spectacular nights of the renowned International Latino Film Festival – coming to Downtown Redwood City on November 16th, 17th, and 18th. Film lovers from the local community and throughout the bay area will enjoy six great Latino films at the Downtown Century 20, and are invited to a special Gala Closing Reception/La Gran Final hosted at the San Mateo County History Museum, in its dramatic rotunda under its magnificent stained glass dome.

For the second year, the International Latino Film Festival is coming to our Downtown, creating a new tradition of culture and art in our community. The film festival showcases the best in new international Latino cinema, encourages emerging film talent, and pays tribute to celebrated Latino actors, directors, and producers – and Redwood City is pleased to host three great nights and the Gala Closing Reception right in the heart of our Downtown.

The 11th International Latino Film Festival (www.latinofilmfestival.org) is exhibiting nearly 100 films at 14 venues from November 2nd through November 18th. The entire Festival spans eight Bay Area cities - San Francisco, Redwood City, San Jose, San Rafael, Larkspur, Berkeley, Sacramento, and San Bruno.
