FREE “Movies on the Square” - Great Films Outdoors at Courthouse Square Starting June 20th!
Redwood City, CA - June 19, 2007– Redwood City announces another of its incredible variety of FREE summer activities, perfect for the whole family: “Movies on the Square,” this week featuring “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” the 2005 remake starting Johnny Depp.
The community is invited to join with friends, families, and neighbors on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Courthouse Square, starting at sundown (approximately 8:45 pm) for this first in the summer series of outdoor movies.
And this is just the beginning! Every Wednesday night through August (except July 4) at Courthouse Square, another great family film will be shown outdoors, where the community can come together and enjoy our wonderful summer weather, while relaxing and enjoying a fun film on our big outdoor movie screen. With the variety of restaurants downtown, many people will make an evening of it with dinner and a movie.

These free outdoor movies throughout the summer are sponsored by the City of Redwood City and its Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, and Redevelopment Agency.
