“Scare on the Square”- FREE Halloween-Inspired Movies Outdoors on Courthouse Square
Redwood City, CA - October 9th, 2007
- Redwood City announces another of its incredible variety of FREE activities, perfect for the whole family! This Saturday, October 13th is the start of “Scare on the Square” FREE Halloween-inspired outdoor movies! The first feature is “Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit,” which shows at 6:45 pm.
The community is invited to join with friends, families, and neighbors for three weekends of FREE Halloween-inspired spooky films right on Courthouse Square (weather permitting).
In addition to “Wallace and Gromit,” kids and adults alike will love Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein,” Tim Burton’s animated film “Corpse Bride,” and the classic “Ghostbusters” on our 25-foot inflatable outdoor BIG screen! With the variety of restaurants downtown, many people will make an evening of it with dinner and a movie. Save your receipts because we will be giving away free popcorn with proof of purchase from any Downtown business on the day of the movie.
