Redwood City Presents Cinco de Mayo Celebration on Courthouse Square, and Kicks Off Silicon Valley Open Studios Art Tours
Redwood City, CA - May 1, 2008 - The entire community is invited to join with friends, family, neighbors, and new friends at Redwood City’s beautiful new Courthouse Square for this exciting cultural event celebrating Cinco de Mayo! Enjoy art, music, dance, crafts, and fun for the whole family. And, at the same time, Redwood City welcomes Silicon Valley Open Studios for artist tours throughout the city, and the region.
It all starts at 5 pm on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Courthouse square – here’s the schedule of fun activities:

The weather is turning wonderful, the restaurants are open, and downtown beckons! Join the fun for Cinco de Mayo, Redwood City style, on Friday May 2nd.
At the same time, it’s the kick-off for Silicon Valley Open Studios, when hundreds of Silicon Valley artists open their studios to the public. This free event lets families discover some exciting new artistic talent, or get up close and personal with favorite artists. Redwood City features many great artists that you can visit between the hours of 11 am and 5 pm on Saturday May 3 and Sunday May 4.
